Apimaye Premium Screened Bottom Board 10 Frame Langstroth for Wood Hives with Built in Pollen Trap and Pollen Drawer, Entrance Reducers and Ventilation System for Moisture Control
·
Suitable
for Langstroth 10 frame wooden beehives in the US/Canada. The Apimaye premium
screened bottom board comes with a built in pollen trap and drawer for your
wood bee hive. Very easy to collect your local pollen from the back of the
hive. The pollen traps on the bottom boards are specially designed to prevent
bee injuries while collecting the pollen. A built in pollen tray enables
collecting the pollen hygienically.
·
Features
ventilation channels for all climate conditions. The air channels built into
the board prevents bee losses during transportation. The unique grill design
enables ventilation in extremely hot weather, while helping remove moisture
from the bee hive at the very cold temperatures. Balancing the moisture inside
the hive results in maturing the honey sooner, thus increasing the hive
productivity.
·
No
rotting problems ever again! Easy to clean. Made from durable food grade
plastic. The bottom boards are built tough against impacts and are durable.
·
The
bottom boards are equipped with a bottom tray. You can have a better
understanding of your hive through inspection of the tray. You can see the
results of your Varroa mite treatment using the bottom board. Small hive
beetles can fall to the tray and do not climb back into the hive. The pollen
trap & tray can be removed for a full screen bottom board with tray.
·
The bee
hive entrance holes can be opened or closed very easily. The entrance can also
be width-adjusted based on the climate. The entrance reducer acts as a mouse
guard and helps protect against robbing from bees, wasps and hornets.
